Athletic Ministry
Fairview has a very active sports ministry. To us it is a ministry since we have seen many people come to Christ through their participation in sports at Fairview. Listed below are examples of some of the athletic opportunities at Fairview:

| Softball – Both men and women softball teams are well know in the Decatur Church Leagues. They have been strong competitors and have won the tournaments. The men’s team travels to Roanoke VA each year to compete in the Interstate Church of God Softball Tournament.

| Golf Tournament – For the past 10 years Fairview has sponsored a golf tournament. This has been well received and this has become a large event at Quail Creek Golf Course. This is always a great time for members and teams that are participating in the tournament.>br>
| Basketball Tournament - Another opportunity for teams to come together in a Christian environment and enjoy the game of basketball.

| Volleyball Nights – A great opportunity for families to enjoy a night together with others.

| Upward – The past two years Fairview has enjoyed successful Upward Basketball Seasons. Softball fields and soccer fields are being developed so that we may offer Upward flag football and soccer.
